    Default Conformational indicators Study

This study has been published. I can't add it as it exceeds the permitted size.

This has been discussed at length on some Facebook pages. Although it can be deemed to be a general phenotype indicator and a possible guideline to prospective matings we must always remember that there are often exceptions. Over the years we have had three dogs with SM that in no way fitted this criteria. One did have a fairly short face but also had quite a flat and deep skull. The other two had quite large flat skulls and fairly lengthy muzzles. And as we all know, you can mate a short faced bitch to a short faced dog and get puppies with lengthy muzzles.
