    Default Dear old Hattie.

One of the dearest and sweetest of my rescue girls went to the bridge yesterday evening. A short illness from Monday with hardly no warning and after admittance to the hospital she quickly went downhill and passed with liver failure.
Hattie came to us two years ago as a foster and was never offered a home so after three months of trying she stayed ... I didn't need much persuading on that one and it was a pleasure to have kept her.
It's been a difficult year so far with the passing of three and it leaves me with two oldies of 14 and another nearly 15 and my fast aging Sheltie...a bit sad here at the moment.

    Alison.

I'm so sorry Alison; you know you made their last years happy and comfortable, but it's always a wrench.

So sorry, Alison. My Minnie had the same, and she literally just went to sleep ... extraordinarily peaceful. So lovely for her to have had that time with you. The others will miss her too.
