    Default Desexing the family dog

On the topic of desexing. My Alfie had some chemical castration injections when he was a pup as he wasn't eating due to a chemical imbalance. Each injection lasted about 3 weeks and then he'd stop eating. New injection and he was instantly eating again.
This video from Australia shows chemical implants instead of castration surgery

I wonder if it would have the same after effects as castration often does on a Cavalier: e.g. growing a big woolly coat???

I've seen dogs post castration who had much bigger, fluffier coats than his!
