    How cute!!!!!!

    Hold old is he?

So have noticed the last couple of days some of his coat at the bottom of his back is not silky, is this normal? It feels a bit dry!

on the photos he is 4 months old. He's 14 months now... photos attached - one with big brother Sydney.

Not too sure about the coat.. Our two get a quarter teaspoon of coconut oil one or twice per week.... You can give salmon/fish oil (Omega 3).. In spite of this our older dog - Sydney, still has a wiry feel to a small patch of his coat on his back just above the tail. Harvey is as silky as you can get..

Joining a good pet dog training club will help teach you both many of the things you need to know for your new puppy, it's great fun and you will get to know many other pups and dogs which will be good for his socialising skills. Pups up to about 20 wks are very receptive so now would be an ideal time to take him along.

    Hi,

At what age did you get him groomed? And yes he does look like Brucie!

Just go give an update to all......

Brucie is adjusting well to his new food, crate training has started.....would not say we are house trained, but i do know now that he can hold it!

We are doing leading training when at home.....he is doing very well and now starting to sit before he jumps up on us at the sofa, the sofa is a quiet place so if he starts to play he is back down again!

Now i need to tackle how to make him settle on an evening on the floor........and what do with him when we eat!!!
Also.....the OFF LEAD.....which scares me ALLOT!!!

Photo from last weekend added, a tried pup who wouldn't give in!

Harvey had his first puppy bath at the age of 15 - 16 weeks... Just to start and get him used to it... Harvey has never been cut or clipped. The only trimming has been the hair on the bottom of his paws, between the pads.

We've not been the best trainers so I'll leave that part of the question to someone else!!!

Brucie is going to the groomers tommorow just for a bath, nails clip and bum hair trimmed !!!
The groomer is a lady who has King Charles spaniels so I am sure he will be in great hands!!
