    Unhappy Dog thieves techniques

This has come up on Facebook, so thought that I'd share it here.

Dog owners have been reporting finding coloured stickers on their fences, gate post, etc. Police in a number of countries (including Australia) confirm these stickers are linked to dog theft occurrences. But they now appear to be using paint markings on the pavements as well.

There are also people who are stealing dogs by using squeaky toys. If you should see anyone in a vehicle driving around and squeaking a toy, then do take a picture of the vehicle and its number plate and report to the police
