  Rescue and Welfare Service

Cavaliers are one of the most popular breeds of dog, so why do we need a rescue service I hear you say? Well thereby hangs a tail!

We often take on a dog with all good intentions, but our busy lives are constantly changing. Having made that commitment, we may well find that unfortunately we are no longer able to fulfil our responsibilities as a dog owner.

Whether it be ill health, change in domestic circumstances, or financial reasons, the rescue service is always on hand to help and offer friendly and confidential advice.

Does this answer the question on why we need a rescue service?

Fortunately we have a dedicated team of volunteers who drop everything and go miles to collect a dog and take it to one of the many homes we have waiting. These kind hearted people who register to rescue a cavalier never ask how old it is, they just want to give the dog a good loving home and we would like to say a big thank you to all these dedicated people.

Rescue Party 2003
Each year we organise a rescue party and fun day for all the dogs we have rescued over the years. It's a great day out, with events like the longest ears, waggiest tail, biscuit race, prettiest bitch, handsomest dog. It's a great social event and all rescue dogs and owners have a good time.

Our service covers the following areas :

Staffordshire : Warwickshire : West Midlands : Worcestershire : Oxfordshire : Shropshire and Gloucestershire.

For details of our rescue service please contact one of the co-ordinators Mr.R Wilkinson - 01384 441861 or Mrs M Rees 024 76403583, or alternatively download an application FROM HERE , you will need Adobe Acrobat.
