SWEDISH CAVALIER KING CHARLES SPANIEL CLUB CH. SHOW

I was invited to judge Swedish Cavalier Club's ch show held in Avesta on June 17.
I was flattered by a record entry of 100 Cavaliers. The show was held outdoors and luckily the weather was fine as there would not have been any indoor ring. The atmosphere was friendly as always in Sweden, and very much a family weekend.
BIS-puppy was Sperringgardens Conqustador, bred and owned by Leni Louise Nyby , by Homerbrent James Stewart.
BIS and Best Bitch was Annika Selg's Sw CH. Bonnyville Dodo's Delight, a delightful 4 year old blen who moved like a dream. She is by sw Ch. Homerbrent James Stewart out of INT Ch. Eyeza Blithe Spirit who I gave 3rd CC some 6 years ago.
Res Best Bitch was Erna-Britt and Sara Nordin's Nordic Ch. Cavamirs Samsara, pretty little black&tan by Craigowl Cadbury.
Bitch CC-winner (Champions cannot get CC in Sweden) was also black&tan Cavamirs Estelle, bred and owned by Erna-Britt and Sara Nordin.
Best Dog was Sw CH Pascavale Designed, 2 ½ years old masculine blen by Chantiz Indiana Spring ex Pascavale Lulu, bred by M Levy & M Sedgwick, owned by Jan Tornblom and Joakim Ohlsson.
Res Best Dog and CC-winner was Grete Andersen's Mustela H.Talisman, cobby tri by Deeriem Jazzman.
BIS-Veteran was INT Ch. Millhill Le Mans, 7 year old tri bred by E Mordecai, owned by Jan Tornblom and Joakim Ohlsson.

MILAN WORLD WINNER SHOW 2000
80 Cavaliers entered for Mr Hans Lehtinen (Finland) but at the last minute-due to enormous entries in toy breeds-judged instead by a Mr Boris Spoljardic from Kroatia !
The venue in Milan's "NEC" was quite crowded, two big halls with two floors each-not easy to find anything. Italian was the only official language which was not very helpful… It was quite difficult to follow the judging and as no result slips appeared near the ring, most placings remained quite unknown to the spectators.
However, It was wonderful to meet some old friends form all over Europe, and see their latest show dogs. The quality varied and many dogs were surprsingly large. I hope all 'overseas' breeders keep on coming to England to watch our rings to keep to the type and size…
Judging
was quite slow but eventually the winners emerged: Both WW-titles
went to Italy: WW in dogs, and BOB was Pietro Paolo de Condo's ruby
dog from open class, CARLOS PANTA RHEI VAN'T HEESKE , now 5 years, by Royal
Companion parents and bred in Holland by H.Hilverda.
Reserve Best dog was CH. Immenhof's Dream Lover (Craigowl Crackerjack x Pascavale Rosie).
Junior WW was Pamedena Waterloo
WW in bitches was Pietro Paolo de Condo's owner-bred blen FIDELIANGORONGORO DEI COMTE D'EAU, a grand-daughter of Ch. Chantiz Half Moon.
Reserve Best Bitch was (to my knowledge) CH Moreen des Marlivieers, winner of ch.class.
Junior WW in bitches was Angel's Pride Aixtra Girl.
