Roberta
A. (Robbi) Jones, Rutherford Cavalier
King Charles Spaniels
At
13, Robbi showed a dachshund and became
hooked on showing dogs. The Bichon
Frise was the first breed she actively bred and showed in conformation and
obedience, starting in 1971 when they were a rare breed. She bred 4 Bichons that became American
Kennel Club (AKC) Champions after the breed was recognized.
Her
first Cavalier arrived in 1983, which started her 25-year love affair with the
breed. Her original bloodlines were
Kindrum and Salador. Since then, Robbi
has owned and/or bred numerous champions in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Club (CKCSC), AKC, and Canadian Kennel Club – in addition to several with AKC
Obedience titles. She has bred CKCSC
